Telephone System Problems

The practice would like to apologise to those who have been cut off whilst in a phone queue to our reception team. We have raised this with our phone system provider who have admitted this is caused by a bug in the system they are trying to rectify.

Community Pharmacy  Consultation Scheme

We are participating in a new approach to improve access for patients to GP appointments. The aim is to direct patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional, which may be a pharmacist.

If your symptoms could be resolved by a booked consultation with the Community Pharmacist instead of the GP, you will be given a same-day referral to a pharmacy of your choice by a member of our reception team or another clinician.

Your local pharmacist is a highly trained and skilled clinician experienced in treating minor illnesses.

This will also help us to free up GP appointments for people with more complex health needs and ensure that everyone gets treated at the right time, by the right healthcare professional.
