Who is it suitable for?
If you’re aged 16 and over, you can register for the NHS app without visiting the practice.
How does it work?
With the NHS App you can:
- check your symptoms – find reliable NHS information on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get immediate advice.
- order repeat prescriptions – see your available medications and request a new repeat prescription.
- view your medical record – get secure access to your GP medical record
- register to be an organ donor – easily manage your preferences on the NHS Organ Donor Register.
- choose how the NHS uses your data – register your decision on whether it can be used for research and planning.
How do I access it?
The NHS App is free to download from the App Store and Google Play.

If you already use an online services app you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

Local Support and advice
For local support and advice on how to set up and use the NHS app you can now contact Tanuja Kumari by phone on +44 20 3922 1554 (Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 2pm).
Tanuja will also be available in person at the practice the first Thursday of every month 9.00am to 10.30am at our Manor Road site and 10.45am to12.15 pm at our Roundshaw site. If you prefer to see Tanuja in person please drop in during those times.

NHS App
Download the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser, to set up and log in to your NHS account. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online, including appointments and prescriptions.
